Windows 7 windows sound schemes not working

im using windows 7 home premium SP1 and none of the windows sound schemes are not working except for windows default i test sound them all and no sound comes out does anyone know how to fix this?

Could be corrupt sound files. Are you sure only the Windows scheme is working?
