I had XP Professional running on my computer . When i used to start my comp , it wud show " Invalid boot.ini Booting from C:\ " and it wud start normally. Then I Installed Windows 7 beta , which was already expired . After installation , XP dint boot at all . I tried Putting XP as the default OS under startup and recovery section of My Computer Properties , but XP is not listed there. Plz help me , i am also ready to delete Windows 7. Thanx in Advance.

you need to rewrite the boot sequence, for XP as this was over ridden search for this on google. some simple DOS programming will fix it.

Shubham96,
Windows 7 replaces the boot.ini file for Windows XP -- which is why you are not able to boot from it. You will a. need 3rd party software to replace Windows XP back into the boot loader, or b.reformat and reinstall XP. For addtional assistance, and to learn more about Win 7, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 RC Support Forum located here Windows 7 Category . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams.
