I'm install Windows 7 Home and I'm getting the following error after "Windows is loading files"

    File : /windows/system32/winload.exe

    Status : 0xc0000001

Info : the selected entry could not be loaded

This is a new computer with all new hardware.
The motherboard is a Gygabyte MA74GM-S2 with at AMD Athlon X2 7850
    it SATA Seagate HDD

I've looked at several other forum posts and does anyone know is this a error a Bad Burn on the disk or is it something hardware related?

    Thank you..

Maybe some more information would help.

You are currently trying to install Windows 7 from booting to an install disk?

Where did you get the install disk?

Did the install see the hard drive OK and give you a chance to make a partition??
