Windows 7 wireless connection keeps dropping, sometimes taking the router with it

Hi,
Windows Home Premium 64. my wireless connection drops about twice a day. Sometimes, it takes the wireless router with it. I have a bunch of stuff on the wireless network, but it seems my laptop is the only one causing a problem. My primary card is a intel n-1030, but I've also tried a wireless usb adapter and have the same issue. I have even tried a different router. Same result. updated drivers, flused the DNS. no luck. Although you updated your drivers, here is a reliable response to your issue:

Problem with intel centrino wireless-n 1030

The device itself may be experiencing problems.

Try also this software from Intel: Intel® Centrino® Wi-Fi Products — Intel® Wireless Troubleshooter

Do you have custom HOSTS records installed or are running IIS? It is extremely unusual to see A records in a ipconfig /all output.

On some wireless NICs, disabling IPv6 or changing the frequency range has been known to resolve a number of issues.

Thanks I actually don't have the laptop in front of me (it's my home machine). Forgive my ignorance, I don't think I have a custom hosts nor am I running IIs. How can I get "rid" of a customs host. Also, what (which?) are A records, and how would I get rid of them. The only thing odd on my wireless network is an airplay device that seems to work with everything except this laptop. Thanks for the quick response BTW
