A GUN cop who shot Mark Saunders dead is facing the sack after allegedly inserting song titles into his evidence at the lawyer's inquest.
The Met CO19 firearms officer, codenamed Alpha Zulu Eight, is said to have deliberately referred to songs for a laugh with colleagues as he gave evidence about shooting the 32-year-old barrister.
An investigation was yesterday launched by the Independent Police Complaints Commission into the officer's evidence given at Westminster Coroner's Court on September 27
