Hello,
After i installed WIN 7, i discoverd my TV CARD(winfast 2000 xp rm) have no 64 bit drivers.
But then i discoverd the XP MODE, and tried runing TV software from there, unfortunately no luck with that too...
so... is there any way runing PCI card on xp mode as 32 bit, in win7 64 bit....?

Solution
To run a PCI TV card on Windows 7 64-bit when there are no 64-bit drivers available, you can try the following workaround:

Running a PCI Card on XP Mode in Windows 7 64-bit

  1. Install Windows Virtual PC: Ensure you have Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode installed on your Windows 7 system.
  2. Download TV Software in Windows XP Mode: Once the Windows XP Mode is set up, install your TV software within the virtual environment. This allows you to use the TV card within the 32-bit environment.
  3. Configure USB/PCI Devices: In Windows Virtual PC, you can configure the PCI TV card to pass through to the virtual machine. This may require some additional setup within the Virtual PC settings to properly route the...

  4. Use the TV Card within XP Mode: Once the TV software and the drivers for the TV card are set up within Windows Virtual PC (XP Mode), you should be able to use the TV card as if it were running on a 32-bit system.

    Considerations and Limitations

    • Performance: Running hardware devices in a virtual environment may impact performance compared to running them natively on hardware with proper drivers.
  • Compatibility: Not all hardware devices can be successfully passed through to a virtual machine. You may encounter limitations due to compatibility issues.
  • Alternatives: If running a 32-bit environment in a virtual machine proves problematic, consider looking for external USB TV tuners that have 64-bit drivers available for Windows 7.

    Additional Notes

  • Make sure to back up important data before making significant changes to your system. Running a PCI card through XP Mode in Windows 7 64-bit can be a viable solution in cases where 64-bit drivers are not available. However, it may not provide the same level of performance or functionality as running the card natively on a 32-bit system with appropriate drivers.
