    Hello all,
I am writing because this is this the first time I have ever encountered this error. I currently have the W7 Public Beta installed on a partition on my laptop. All was going fine until this morning when I got up and checked on a torrent i was downloading. To my surprise, windows had rebooted all by itself and was in Startup Recovery mode. Root cause was Registry Corrupt.

I have run chkdsk D: /f /r /b twice and still no effect.

If any one could help, please do as Windows7 is the by far my fav OS of windows (apart from xp of course)
