Windows 7 Question about mouse clicks

at win 7 ultimate
how can i define that instead of clicking with the mouse 2 times to open
folder or my computer or whatever i wish to open i could do it at one time click instead of double click

[Trouble]

From the tool bar menu (if not present strike the alt key when explorer is open) select tools->folder options.
