I think you are confusing color depth and the size of the file system. Inside Windows 7, Win XP mode will only show graphics at a 16 bit color depth. Win XP mode is also only 32 bit in size but can run inside a Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit system--very different things...

I am having the same issue, it either downloads then disappears or is saved as a zero byte file. I am using 32 bit Firefox or 64 bit IE.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have the latest firmware from D-Link -- 1.21. I don't think it is the cable because once it acquires there are no drops. Ping times to other sites are normal with no dropped packets. Device manager shows no errors so it doesn't look like a driver issue either...

I hear ya! I did an upgrade on my x86 laptop from beta to 7068 and a clean install on my x64 desktop (went from XP Pro). Both are working fine so far.
