I love the speech recognition. It actually works, is useful, and is fun. But I would like to know if there is a way to customize the voice commands, such as addressing the computer as a name to activate it, instead of "Start listening" (nerdy, I know, but AWESOME). Or for further customization...

I think this is an acknowledged glitch that will be corrected when Win7 is finished. Until then, the UAC and general "account security" options (to protect the administrator account from having access to itself) will remain even more annoying and unavoidable than ever before.

Same exact problem. Has persisted from onboard sound to Creative X-Fi, with absolutely no difference, with or without beta drivers.

I wish I could just go back to on-board sound to fix my SoundBlaster problems. I bought my X-Fi card to REPLACE on-board sound because it was ALREADY crackling. But it got even worse after this new card. Sound works fine in XP, so I'm hoping to see some improvement in the sound drivers for W7...

I get crackling during scrolling as well. I use the X-Fi Xtreme Gaming soundcard. If I scroll any more than 3 clicks, sound stops altogether. Multitasking is not currently a viable option if you want sound from your computer. I've tried several dozen ideas, and nothing's working. So you're not...
