Yes, I logged in with my Microsoft account which is not an administrator - more a guest. It is powerless

Running Win8.1 & don't have Password Reset Stick. Signed in with a Microsoft account which is powerless and useless. All the the stuff you can type into the "RUN" box result in a popup asking for a (missing) password! How do I restore my full admin privileges???

No kemical, I would rather not do that because it will bring back a lot of the rubbish I've been cleaning out, and some other "improvements" will be lost. Isn't there a Windows standard theme to install? How does playing with "colors" like I did, mess everything up?

I messed around for hours trying to "improve" my desktop! WOW! What a mess. I'll never hit that Personalize option after this Please can you help me revert to the standard colours of a Windows desktop? ? Many thanks, baobab
