    In terms of uninstalling, I didn't see the drivers i currently have (186.03) in the add/remove programs list. Can i just delete the folder and install an older driver?

    @reghakr, I've been having the same issue with my 8400M GS... Do you think using google to search for a WDM for my card will do the trick? Are there any other measures I can take to resolve this problem?

    I installed that BIOS update and still have major issues. Display NVIDIA Windows Kernel mode driver, version 186.03, has stopped responding and has successfully recovered.â€Â￾ periodically pops up and i eventually get the BSOD. =[
