Windows 7 no audio devices are detected!

This issue is resolved. After talking to Biostar tech support, I learned that this is a known issue. This issue is caused by introducing a Nvidia graphics card to the system. It causes the audio chip to disapper! After updating BIOS, issue was resolved.

Windows 7 no audio devices are detected!

Can't do that. the message in "sounds" is: no audio devices are detected. Also, I don't see any option to activate audio in bios setup.

Sounds like you are having a driver issue where you just have to locate or wait for the right drivers to appear, perhaps from Asus. My issue is that win7x64 does not even SEE the audio chip, so I have no chance of installing drivers!

HELP!!!! Why doesn't Win7 detect my onboard Realtek ALC662 sound chip. Can't install drivers because OS doesn't see chip. Can't figure this out. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Downloaded Win7x64 twice and burned with Imgburn and it twice failed verification. Downloaded Win7x32 once and ditto. Also tried to burn with Roxio. Same result. Any advise would be appreciated! Thanks.
