Changing to 16 bit does fix the problem, you can change back to 32 bit again and it will work until you change resolution or restart. I dont think that nvidia will be releasing a new driver as this problem has been happening on Vista for a while and there has never been a fix other than to use...
The same thing with the boot screen happened to me when it restarted whsilt I was reinstalling windows 7. It goes back to just one windows 7 entry after the install has finished. I would try a reinstall because it shounds liek it has not installed properly.
Does the the same thing happen when you change resolution? I could use one monitor on its own and it would be fine except when I changed resolution. Im not sure what you could try, maybe even older drivers, or try clocking your card to what has been said here before.
I think u can use ntune to lower your clock speeds, although from what I can gather you will need to flash your graphics cards bios wuth the new clocks so that it runs at those clocks from the moment you turn it on. you will still get the problem on start up if you dont as ntune wont have loaded...
I have managed to find a fix for the blue and white flickering lines. I searched google and found that there had been problems with Vista with EVGA factory overclocked cards. The problem was exactly the same as mine. The solutions were to either underclock the card or use the 158.24 drivers as...
Whenever I boot up windows 7 with both my monitors connected I get a corrupted screen on my main monitor, my other monitor works fine. My main monitor shows blue and white lines that flash, this changes depending what is on the screen. Windows logs in and I can see that mouse on my second...
Have you installed the graphics drivers from windows update and configured your second display?
I have been having problems with using dual monitors. Whenever I plug in my second monitor my primary display turns to blue and white flashing lines. My second monitor displays fine and I can get my...
I have installed the graphics drivers from windows update, the only thing with a exclamation mark in device manager is my tv tuner as the drivers are only for XP. I think the aero problem is related to my motherboard.
If I try to run the test it will run but then at the end say it cannot be completed becuase of a driver problem or something like that. I am having lots of other trouble with aero crashing and graphics corruption so it is probably related to that.
