already done. I have compressed it with a different program, and installed it. should i re-install it using the dvd or get another copy?

Same with if you partition it. I have Windows Vista and am trying to get Windows 7. My specs are: 2 gp ram 500 gb hard drive 10gp partition for recovery 390gp partition for vista 68 gb for Windows 7 and when i boot the computer, it asks if i want to boot in Vista or Windows 7.

why? what is the advantage?

I have partitioned my drive and installed the Windows 7 on a partitioned drive with 68gb on it. It boots to the windows screen, and then it reboots. I am on my main partition for my windows vista! The Repair won't work, which has got me baffled. Any ideas?
