How to Upgrade the Windows 7 RC to RTM (Final Release) :: the How-To Geek It is quite simple, really. I've heard it works and am going to try it as soon as I backup my files. Anyone try this yet? Also, will this upgrade still work if my OS and my personal files are on the same...
I was reading from a newegg reviewer that there is a beta somewhere, but I have yet to find it. Do you know when the official Auzentech drivers will be released?
Auzentech has yet to release a 7-compatible driver for this sound card. I am going to purchase this card very soon, and would like to know if anyone has found a stable driver for this sound card. Thank you.
Although Windows has the ability to change wallpapers at a given interval, the shortest time between intervals is 10 seconds, and for my purposes, that is too long. Any way to change this manually?
Yes, I recall that when I run dxdiag on Windows 7, it states I have DirectX 11. The webpage you gave me was the one I used to download DirectX before, and like I said, it is only 9.0c... I also recently tried changing my processor speed to stock, will play GoW soon to see if that fixes the...
Hmm, I feel like such a noob. When I tried updating my DirectX, I downloaded a client that had 9.0c in it. How do I update to 10? (or 10.1 for that matter, since I have a 4850 which supports it) When I try to download it off Microsoft, it gives me a package with 9.0c in it.

My PC is fairly modern. Gigabyte P45 Motherboard Intel E8400 ATI HD4850 My drivers are 9.5 and they are the most recent. As for DirectX, I was under the impression that Windows came with DirectX 10... Oh well, I will try to update it anyway. I know for a fact that I have DX9 because it was...
Could you give us your specs and the version of Windows you are using (32/64, which build)? Also, have you tried running the programs in compatibility mode?
Here are all three memory dumps that were logged. Thanks you for your time. Also, I do not use Alchemy. My sound is being driven by my onboard Gigabyte sound card. I'll try your other suggestions soon. Thanks again.
So this happened yesterday. I was playing GoW for around 20 minutes, and then the game just froze. No sound, and a frozen picture. So I decide to open up task manager and end the process. Following this, I re-open the game, play another ~20 minutes, and then the same nonresponsive screen shows...
