It did not work I tried changing the security setting from Automatic to L2TP and then to PPTP and neither worked. any other ideas?

I am a consultant and I connect to one of my clients using VPN. It works great on all my XP computers. I can't get it to work on my new, HP 64-bit computer using Windows 7. I know the IP address, user name, password, and I copied the setting from the XP computer to the best of my ability. Please...
