This may work for you. What I did was do a clean install of Windows 10, and not an upgrade from Windows 8.1. I have not had a freeze in several days, (keeping eyes,fingers, and toes crossed) :)

Just letting you know taht by doing a clean install of Windows 10 Pro, and without installing any other software, the issue I had with Windows Homegroup is now fixed.

Sorry for the late reply, but the problem seems to be on my main PC. I am running Windows 10 Pro, and the laptop is running Windows 10 Home. When I run homegroup, I can't see his computer. But, when I go to the Network, then I see it and can access the shared files. But the reverse is not true...

That sucks. I would prefer it to behave like it did before. Actually I wish I as the owner of a computer didn't have to have "permission" to access my own directories and files. This is overkill for the home computer user.
