ok that doesn't seem to work. the firewall on the vista is turned off, it can see the win 7 and take things/give things to that pc but the win7 cant even access the vista. it still says it can't access. doesn't give me the option to enter the user id or password for the vista pc.

ok so we have 2 laptops, both win 7, and a pc that has vista. our computer can see all the shared folders and access them, but our laptops cannot access our vista computer. It can see it, but when you click on it we get an error saying windows can't access\\(pc name)pc. We have tried so many...
