No more BSOD's, more than a week. Can I consider this problem solved? :)

Good news: since I removed that RAM piece, I experienced no more BSOD. Fingers crossed!

Why? I don't think it is a graph problem.

As planned, I removed one RAM stick. Now the image is back and I got the message "overclock failed". Press F1 set up or F2 default settings. I chose F1, changed the boot order (usb first) and saved. So next time I can do the memorytest from my usb. Now Win is running and when I open Speccy, it...

As I am using my old computer with the old graph still functioning, I assume the cards themselves are not causing the problem. I hope its not the PCI slot itself.. What do you suggest removing from the MOBO? I read on another website that corrupted RAM also can cause the black screen/no...

I don't understand why you are suggesting the graphicscard now.. I m using my old (self-build) pc right now. So I think I can handle the hardwaresteps. This one got a graph card (nvidia geforce 6600 GT PCI version). So how do I start? Do I still need to follow the steps you mentioned one post...

Bad news: I had 2 new BSOD during my next start up (I wanted to start the init diag tests..). Now my pc won't start the OS anymore (my pc runs but the screen remains black). HELP!
