Windows Vista 2 attempts needed to browse to any Web Page
This seems like an easy problem. You should do disk cleanup's and get rid of all the internet junk. You can go to tools -> internet options in your IE7 and just deleted files and delete cookies. The problem is probably because of your browser cache. It's just trying to find the "temporary" net...- josh_rain

Windows Vista no sound after first vista update (hp pavilion dv2000 notebook)
Sounds like an easy fix. If the device manager says its working fine and theres no yellow question or exclimation marks then just uninstall the drivers, turn the computer off and back on and let it install itself, check the device and if its not working right use the drivers and software CD that...- josh_rain

Windows Vista my computer does not recognize a disk is in the drive
entering the bios is easy. when you turn your computer on you see the POST screen. press delete or F2. its different with some motherboards. From there you can detect IDE devices and it will tell you if your CD-ROM is detected. if not then its probably a problem with that. Instead of trouble...- josh_rain

Windows Vista USB Ports Not Recognizing Devices After Upgrade to Windows Vista: Seeking Solutions
Heres a quick way to tell. This works on some older systems of windows. plug your printer in to any USB thats on the motherboard itself, not the frontpanel. Let the printer finish making its noise and then restart. Once you restart see if the printer goes through its normal tests and noise's. if...- josh_rain

Windows Vista CRASH with PHOTOSHOP & Vista
What I would recommend is boot to safe mode, uninstall the file and all its components. Then goto start -> run and type in regedit. That will bring up the registry editor. If you arent comfortable with it its ok. Do a search in the entire reg for "photoshop" or "CE2". Delete any reference to...- josh_rain
