No they dont, have also tried that. Have looked for dvd rom drivers but it doesnt use any stand alone drivers, just windows drivers i think.

I insert a dvd and it opens media player automatically, goes to a full screen then it doesnt do anything else. The slider doesnt move and pushing play doesnt work. Tried to play assasins creed which ran fine on XP, Dragon Age:Origins, Tombraider Underworld. All graphics drivers are the latest as well as directx 11. Even my world of warcraft frames dropped by half.

I can play the dvds with VLC player no problem, and media player plays cds and video clips. I dont really want to resort to having the dvd files moved to my hard drive. Come to think of it, previous windows media players have never played my movie dvds :confused:

Cant seem to play dvds with media player, its the latest version and my dvd drive is set to the correct zone. Stick a movie in and it just doesnt do anything. Any ideas ? Thanks :D

PC spec Intel dual 2 Quad 2.33ghz 4mb ram 500gig hard drive 1gig geforce 8500gt windows 7 64bit home premium I have directx 10 and the latest nvidia drivers. All my games are slow and choppy an i cant realy play them. The system is brand new as well, not sure if its a setting i may have missed...

i have a similar problem except my warcraft doesnt patch anymore. It was installed in the program files(x86) untill it told me to move it to the folder called Public. I moved it to the other program files folder instead.

So i just put in the 64bit dvd and it should run? Ive tried that but my dvd rom is showing that theres no disk in it. Not sure whats going on there. Or have i missed something?

Hi I just installed 7 home premium 32 bit on a brand new pc, but i also have the 64 bit i would like to install now instead. How do i do a full uninstall of the 32bit? it doesnt seem to work the old way of just putting the 64bit disk in and overwriting. Basically i have no idea how to uninstall...
