Go into your Bios. Under Advanced Settings disable your TPM. That should stop it from updating Win 11.

If you do an upgrade you won't loose anything.

The board I am using is Asus Prime Z490-A. I cannot say anything bad about it.

I don't know. I do have the feeling that it's not compatible for Win 11.

Mine will maybe jump up to 50 for a few seconds then go back down to the mid 30's or upper 30's. I can't complain.

Sorry, I found ftpm in my bios. Instead under a different label (PTT). I was able to download Win 11. I will not need new board or module. Cancelled both orders.

Already ordered a Asus TPM-SPI Trusted Platform Module (TPM) TPM-SPI

I have a asus z490-a board. It surprised me to find that there is no header for TPM. Ordered a z590-p board that does.

I have to replace my motherboard. The one I have has no TPM Header. I hope then by adding tpm I can download win 11. I meet all the other requirements.

A couple of articles I have seen mentioned that if you have Win 10 or a Win 7 key it will work, If not then Win 10 will also be my last OS.
