Hi, thanks for the reply. It seems to remember the password even if the zip file is closed (inc closing down windows explorer). I think you are saying that windows in-built zip is not very secure. Can you recommend an alternative (I dont have windows pro)?

Update, I discovered that the start menu could be accessed immediately after login. But when I tried to revert, it told me that it could not be done (and when I checked, the windows.old folder was not present). This is strange as it has been less than a month from when windows 10 was installed...
