kevin, thanks for the reply but i did as you said and it unfortnately didnt fix my problem ):

i have the EXACT same problem, with the exact router... right now i have it connected with a cable, it seems like the only way to do it, for now. i'll let you know if i find anything else out! :)

hello ! seems like this is a pretty frequent problem, so my mom updated her laptop to windows 7 and now it wont connect to our wifi, the laptop is in range and everything looks fine, it even shows that our network is there, but it wont let it connect, theres a red 'X' beside the network name...
