I'm talking about when you play videos on a media player. Wide screen. Like a movie. wide screen is better then full screen while your watching a movie right?

Some of my videos are blue ray. Thats just for example. And yeah I know. But still no wide screen at all. I tried everything to give me those black side bars on top and bottom. Do you think its a video card setting?

My videos are all the same when they played wide screen before. 1280x720. blue ray files and all that. I'm thinking its the video card thats not making it side screen? is that the problem here?

Yeah I tried. I go to aspect ratio and tried all the settings. 16:9 should be widescreen. but it shows it's already on 16:9 but it's full screen. Like I think its locked and wont go wide screen?

Wait I think I know..well not to sure. gioing to ask you. on the image scaling. It's not visable, I don't know why. and theres a dot on where it says "scale image to full panel size" Shouldnt I put it to where it says maintain aspect ratio? I don't know how to edit that because its not visible.

I don't think the player matters. I tried using three or four different onces. Still no widescreen. I don't know why this happened, when I upgraded to windows 7. Unless it's a setting in the video card like your telling me, I think.
