Two laptops display vibrant digital artwork and AI-assisted editing interfaces on a desk beside a window.
ASUS has launched the ProArt P14 and ProArt P16 in the Philippines, bringing NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform to two premium Windows 11 creator laptops. YugaTech and WalasTech report three local configurations, ranging from a 32GB P14 to a special-order P16 with 128GB of unified memory. The practical choice is between portability and greater memory capacity—not simply a smaller screen versus a bigger one.

WalasTech lists the following introductory suggested retail prices, with no stated end date for that pricing. All three configurations include a 1TB SSD.

The configurations and prices match YugaTech’s reporting. It also identifies ASUS Exclusive Stores in Glorietta, SM Makati, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, and SM North EDSA as demonstration and purchase locations; the 128GB P16 requires a special order.

RTX Spark changes the hardware equation

ASUS’s official announcement describes RTX Spark as an integrated platform combining a Grace CPU, Blackwell RTX GPU, and high-capacity unified memory. This is not a conventional laptop pairing a separate GeForce graphics card with its own dedicated memory. ASUS positions the architecture for local AI development, creative applications, and agent-driven workflows.

The important qualification is that capacity does not establish performance. ASUS itself says workable AI workloads depend on model architecture, quantization, context length, and available system memory. Accordingly, the 128GB label should not be read as a guarantee that a particular model will run—or run quickly.

The two Philippine P16 configurations have identical reported CPU and GPU core counts. That makes the additional memory the clearest specification difference, rather than evidence of a faster processor in the more expensive version.

The buying implication: identify a workload that needs the extra capacity before paying for it. Memory headroom is useful; unused headroom is an expensive passenger.

P14 portability versus P16 workspace

YugaTech lists the P14 at 1.48kg, with a 14-inch, 2880 × 1800 OLED touchscreen and 90Wh battery. The P16 weighs 1.77kg and uses a 16-inch, 3840 × 2400 panel with a 99.9Wh battery. Both reported Philippine displays run at 120Hz.

ASUS’s P16 specifications confirm three USB4 Type-C ports, USB-A, HDMI 2.1 FRL, an SD Express 7.0 reader, and a headphone jack. They also list Wi-Fi 7 and an infrared camera supporting Windows Hello. For creators juggling displays, removable media, and peripherals, those connections deserve attention alongside the AI branding.

An important storage-upgrade detail

ASUS lists the P16’s two M.2 slots under “Expansion Slots (includes used).” That means two slots in total—not two guaranteed empty slots. Its listed 1TB drive is PCIe 4.0, despite the slots supporting PCIe 5.0. Buyers planning additional storage should confirm the exact unit’s occupied slots before ordering an SSD.

The same specification page identifies memory as onboard, so buyers should choose capacity at purchase rather than assume a later RAM upgrade. ASUS also states that the platform has been tested only with Windows 11 and warns of possible compatibility issues with Windows 10 or older releases.

Software benefits are separate from hardware capability

WalasTech reports Office 2024, one year of Microsoft 365 Basic with 100GB of cloud storage, and three-month Adobe Creative Cloud and Google AI Pro benefits. Its reported service package includes a three-year warranty, a local on-site support upgrade, and one year of accidental-damage protection. Buyers should confirm eligibility and redemption conditions for their exact SKU.

ASUS also promotes MuseTree, StoryCube, ComfyUI, and Hermes integration for local and hybrid creative workflows. Those are manufacturer-supported capability claims, not independent application benchmarks. ASUS explicitly acknowledges that cloud services remain useful for frontier-scale models and burst capacity.

The strongest next step is therefore a workload demonstration, not another lap around the specification sheet. For either ProArt, ask to see the application, project, or AI workflow that will actually earn back the purchase price.
