Mouse Computer's G TUNE brand has a new halo desktop aimed at people who like their Windows 11 gaming rigs in Intel blue. The G TUNE FZ-I7G80, model number FZI7G80G8BGDW101DECIJ50, was announced on October 7, 2026 to mark the 50th anniversary of Intel's Japanese subsidiary. It pairs a Core Ultra 7 270K Plus with a GeForce RTX 5080. It costs ¥500,000 including tax and is limited to 50 units.

The sale timing needs care. ASCII.jp's English item is dated November 7 and says the machine "has launched." The October 7 reports said otherwise: sales date and time would be announced on a special page once decided. The packet also notes that Mouse's product listing was marked out of stock when it was checked. The sources do not say whether that means all 50 units sold, stock is temporarily unavailable, or sales haven't opened. So treat the November 7 date as a coverage date. It is not a confirmed on-sale date, and a sellout shouldn't be assumed.

The specs below come from Mouse's pages and the October reports.

  • Operating system: Windows 11 Home 64-bit. Mouse's page says setup requires an internet connection and a Microsoft account. That matters for anyone planning an offline or managed deployment. This is a consumer SKU, not Pro.
  • CPU: Core Ultra 7 270K Plus. It has 24 cores and 24 threads, and is cooled by a liquid cooler with a 360 mm radiator.
  • GPU: GeForce RTX 5080 with 16 GB of video memory.
  • Memory: DDR5-5600, 32 GB as two 16 GB modules. Mouse's listing shows two free DIMM slots and a maximum of 128 GB.
  • Storage: 1 TB NVMe SSD (PCIe 4.0). Mouse's listing shows two of the three M.2 positions free.
  • Chipset: Intel Z890.
  • Networking: 10GbE and Wi-Fi 6E. Bluetooth 5 is also listed.
  • Power: A 1,000 W power supply with 80 PLUS Platinum certification.
  • Ports: Two Thunderbolt 4, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, six USB 3.2 Gen 1, three DisplayPort and one HDMI.
  • Warranty: Three-year send-back repair coverage with 24/7 phone support.

The anniversary dress-up

The case is gray with a tempered-glass side panel, with blue LED lighting and a wrapped anniversary design. Mouse's anniversary page says the blue lighting has three brightness levels and can be turned off. Its images are illustrative, and it warns that the final unit may differ from the samples.

Buyers also get a pin badge, stickers and a figure, shipped later. Mouse specifically says the figure ships separately from the PC. Don't expect the goodies in the box.

The anniversary page also lists chassis-family features:

  • room for up to seven air-cooling fans and two 360 mm radiators, depending on configuration
  • washable, removable dust filters
  • a sliding cover over the top connector area
  • a graphics-card support bar
  • a pull-out headphone holder
  • the option of an internal optical drive

Mouse says part availability and configuration limits vary, and this unit ships with one 360 mm radiator. Treat these as case features, not guaranteed installed extras.

Practical considerations

  • Size and weight: It is about 240 × 500 × 479 mm and roughly 18 kg. Mouse's wording puts the height at about 510 mm including protrusions. Check desk and floor clearance before ordering.
  • 10GbE is a port, not a service: To use 10 Gbps you need a compatible switch, cabling and a fast upstream connection. This is general networking knowledge, not a Mouse claim.
  • Upgrade room: Free memory and M.2 slots make the base 32 GB and 1 TB less limiting than they look. That is my reading of Mouse's listing.
  • Performance claims: Mouse and the press describe the machine as suited to gaming, video editing, streaming and creative work. No benchmarks, power draw or noise measurements have been published in the sources I could see. Those claims are vendor positioning, not tested results.
  • Price and changes: Mouse says specs and prices can change without notice. Don't assume details from other FZ-I7G80 configurations apply to this SKU.

Context

Mouse isn't alone. ASCII's related coverage points to other Japanese PC makers offering Intel 50th-anniversary models limited to 50 units, including one from FRONTIER built around the same Core Ultra 7 270K Plus. Mouse's page describes the effort as a collaboration with five domestic PC makers.

For a Windows enthusiast, the appeal is mostly a well-specced Z890 and RTX 5080 tower with a collectible angle. At ¥500,000 you are paying partly for the badge, and with only 50 units, availability is the main hurdle.
