An opened compact desktop PC reveals its RAM and storage beside tools, with a gaming monitor in the background.
The Morefine M900 is a compact mini PC. ETA Prime's hands-on covers the version with the AMD Ryzen 9 HX470 APU and Radeon 890M integrated graphics. AMD's official name for the chip is Ryzen AI 9 HX 470. Several figures in the Geeky Gadgets coverage don't match other product information. This piece separates what the vendor lists from what the reviewer measured, and it flags the specs buyers should check before ordering.

An opened compact desktop PC reveals its RAM and storage beside tools, with a gaming monitor in the background. What the M900 is

The M900 is a roughly 5-inch-square aluminum box that Starry Hope's product roundup describes as suited to office work, multi-monitor desks, small home servers and 1080p gaming. The same chassis is sold with several AMD chips. Starry Hope lists the base Ryzen 7 H 255, the Ryzen AI 5 340, 7 350, 9 365 and the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 at the top.

This is not a single fixed product. Processor, memory, Wi-Fi and storage vary by configuration. Morefine's own store page lists the M900 under a multi-processor title, with a starting price of $379. The displayed price changes with the options selected. A $669 price shows in the listing, but it isn't confirmed as the HX 470 price. Treat any single figure as provisional until you select your exact configuration.

The HX 470 and Radeon 890M

Starry Hope lists the HX 470 as a Ryzen AI 400-series part with a 55 TOPS NPU. It has 12 cores, 24 threads and Radeon 890M graphics with 16 compute units. The 890M is integrated graphics, not a discrete card. The roundup's comparison table gives a 2.0 GHz base clock and a boost of up to 5.2 GHz.

The Geeky Gadgets copy says the chip combines four Zen 5 cores and eight Zen 5c cores. I could not confirm that split against an AMD page, so treat it as unverified. The total core and thread count and the graphics configuration are better supported.

What ETA PRIME measured

Starry Hope reports that ETA PRIME tested the top Morefine-store configuration. It had 32 GB of DDR5-5600 and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. These are one reviewer's results, not AMD figures or repeated lab tests:

  • Versus the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370: Geekbench single-core scored 2,711 against 2,617, a gain of 3.6%. Multi-core improved by 3.1%. 3DMark Time Spy scored 4,335 against 4,122.
  • Forza Horizon 6: about 78 fps at 1080p on the High preset with no upscaling. The chip drew about 54 W in most games.
  • Thermals: temperatures stayed under about 73°C in his testing. He said the fan speed sounded normal for a mini PC.
  • Cyberpunk 2077: 1080p High with FSR Balanced fell short of his hopes. The lowest frame rate was around 54 fps.

The generational gain is modest, in the low single digits for CPU. That is not the leap the headline's "future of computing" framing suggests.

Why socketed memory matters

ETA PRIME blamed the Cyberpunk result partly on the M900's socketed DDR5-5600. The 890M usually runs with faster soldered LPDDR5X in other machines. Starry Hope makes the same point and says the slower memory holds back the integrated graphics.

The trade-off is upgradeability. You can swap SO-DIMMs, which soldered designs don't allow. The reviewer ruled out 1440p on the HX 370 and HX 470 without heavy FSR. Geeky Gadgets' line that FSR keeps 1440p smooth is therefore too optimistic. Think of this as a capable 1080p box.

Memory and storage maximums: sources disagree

ItemGeeky GadgetsOther sources
Max RAM128 GBStarry Hope says Morefine lists 96 GB for every build. ETA PRIME said his HX 470 unit can take 128 GB. Gizmochina's launch report also says up to 96 GB.
Max storage12 TB (two M.2 slots)Starry Hope says Morefine lists up to 8 TB total on two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots.

A reviewer saying a configuration "can take" a capacity is not the same as the manufacturer officially supporting it. If you plan a 128 GB kit, confirm with Morefine first. For planning, 96 GB and 8 TB are the vendor-listed ceilings. One M.2 slot is filled at the factory. There is no 2.5-inch SATA bay.

Access, cooling and mounting

  • Opening it up: Two rear screws let the bottom cover come off without removing the feet.
  • Cooling: ETA PRIME noted a built-in fan blowing over the SSD and memory. Starry Hope adds that Morefine cites dual fans, a vapor chamber and a stacked fin array. It also quotes a 35 dB figure, which is a maker claim, not a measurement.
  • Mounting: A VESA bracket ships in the box, along with a 120 W adapter and an HDMI cable.

Ports, displays and wireless

Front: headphone jack, two 10 Gbps USB-A ports, one USB4 port and OCuLink.

Rear: power input, one 10 Gbps USB-A port, USB 2.0, two 2.5GbE ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and a second USB4 port.

Morefine rates the USB4 ports at 40 Gbps with video output. It says HDMI, DisplayPort and both USB4 ports can each drive a 4K display at 144 Hz, for four screens in total. Geeky Gadgets says DisplayPort 1.2. Gizmochina's launch report says DisplayPort 2.1. Because the versions conflict, I'd verify the DisplayPort version against the exact SKU's spec sheet if it matters for your monitors.

Wireless also varies by SKU. Starry Hope says the three Amazon builds (H 255, AI 5 340, AI 7 350) have Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Morefine's store lists Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the Ryzen AI 9 365 and HX 470 builds, and ETA PRIME's HX 470 unit reported the same. The launch-era report on a lower-tier configuration listed Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

External GPU route

Both OCuLink and the USB4 ports can connect an external GPU. Starry Hope says OCuLink gives the card a direct PCIe link. The enclosure and graphics card are separate purchases. The enclosures Starry Hope lists need their own ATX or SFX power supplies or have one built in. For anyone who wants 1440p gaming, this is the realistic path, since the integrated graphics won't get there.

Practical takeaways for Windows buyers

  1. Pick the SKU deliberately. Wi-Fi 7, the NPU and the 890M come with the higher-end chips.
  2. Don't assume 128 GB or 12 TB. The vendor lists 96 GB and 8 TB.
  3. Set gaming expectations at 1080p. ETA PRIME's results are good for that, but they are one reviewer's numbers.
  4. Plan for upgrades. SO-DIMM and M.2 access through two rear screws is the main practical advantage.
  5. Check DisplayPort version and price at checkout for your exact configuration.

The unit ships with Windows 11 according to the Geeky Gadgets copy and Starry Hope's table. Note that Geeky Gadgets discloses affiliate links, and Starry Hope's page carries Amazon pricing links. Treat both as shopping-adjacent sources and lean on the attributed measurements.
