The collection takes those three existing products and transforms them with translucent green shells, Xbox detailing and RGB lighting. Here's what you need to know before you spend $500.
What's in the collection and when it landed
Razer's newsroom announced the limited-edition lineup on August 25, 2026, as a collaboration with Xbox. The reviewer says orders opened on October 20. Reports from Pokde.net say pre-orders began on 25 August 2026, with general availability starting 20 October 2026 at Razer.com and select U.S. retailers. Razer's own product page, however, labels the Basilisk edition "ONLY AT RAZER". That is a conflict, so check your retailer of choice rather than assuming wide distribution.
The pricing and stock picture:
| Product | Price reported by the review |
|---|---|
| BlackWidow V4 75% (Xbox 25 Edition) | $209.99 |
| Basilisk V3 Pro 35K (Xbox 25 Edition) | $179.99 |
| Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed (Xbox 25 Edition) | $119.99 |
Buying all three comes to $509.97 before tax and shipping.
Some early coverage listed different numbers. KitGuru reported the earbuds at $99.99, and ThinkComputers reported lower prices for all three. The $209.99, $179.99 and $119.99 figures match Pokde.net and the review, so treat the lower numbers as likely early or erroneous. Razer's Basilisk page also showed the mouse as out of stock when the evidence was captured, with a notify-me option. The review says the keyboard was already sold out as it went live. That is a snapshot in time, not proof the whole collection is gone.
The keyboard: the reviewer's clear favorite
Rubino says that if he could buy only one item, it would be the BlackWidow V4 75%. Everything in this section is his impression unless noted as a Razer spec.
- Look: The translucent green chassis and keycaps let Chroma lighting spill through the structure, not just through the legends. He calls the result a glowing, almost radioactive Xbox green.
- Details: The spacebar carries XBOX 25 branding and the keycaps have Xbox-inspired symbols. The arrow cluster uses the ABXY colors.
- Wrist rest: The magnetic rest is printed with Razer and XBOX 25 branding in green.
- Lighting: Chroma supports per-key customization and two-sided underglow. You can change the default green profile in Synapse.
- Switches: Razer lists Orange Tactile Switches Gen-3 and a hot-swappable design. The reviewer says it feels fantastic to type on.
For Windows users, the practical hook is the dedicated Xbox key. Basic Tutorials says it opens the Xbox Game Bar directly in Windows. That makes it more than a cosmetic change. Razer's announcement describes the same key. Whether a Game Bar button justifies the price depends on how often you use Game Bar.
The mouse: a collectible on a known platform
Rubino ranks the Basilisk second and says that if you buy the keyboard, you should buy the mouse too. Razer's official specs list:
- Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2
- A configurable HyperScroll Tilt Wheel
- 13 customizable controls
- HyperSpeed Wireless
- Chroma RGB
- Up to 140 hours of battery life over HyperSpeed Wireless
The anniversary details are a translucent green upper shell, XBOX 25 branding on the side, underglow, and a matching green 2.4GHz dongle. Rubino calls the dongle unnecessary but charming.
He also admits that Razer has since moved the Basilisk family forward. You are paying for the design, not the newest generation. Razer's product page shows the other color options at a $10 to $20 premium over the base price, but the evidence doesn't include the standard mouse's price. So the reviewer's claim of a "$10 to $20 premium" over standard models is his figure, and I couldn't verify it against current standard-model prices.
The earbuds: the cheapest way in
Razer and Xbox list these specs for the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed:
- 2.4GHz HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth 5.3, with SmartSwitch
- Up to 35 hours of total battery life
- IPX4 water resistance
- Surround-sound support on Xbox and PC
The 35-hour figure combines up to 10 hours from the buds with the rest from the charging case. The reviewer used them with an ASUS Xbox Ally X and found them a good handheld companion. The buds are translucent down through the stems, and the case carries a large XBOX 25 logo. That is one person's use, not a measured audio test.
Extras and caveats
Razer's collection page says the lineup includes one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, with terms applying, including that the offer is for new and eligible returning members only. Read those terms before counting it as value.
Is it worth it?
The case for these is design and coherence. Rubino argues that starting with some of Razer's better hardware, not cheaper peripherals, is what makes the collection work. The case against is straightforward:
- You are paying a premium for styling on existing hardware.
- The mouse is not the latest Basilisk generation.
- Stock appears limited.
- The review is a single hands-on, and the two-week usage can't be independently confirmed.
If you want a matching green desk and use Game Bar often, the keyboard is the pick the reviewer would make. If you only want the Xbox look at the lowest cost, the earbuds are the cheapest option at $119.99. Everyone else can probably wait and see whether the standard models drop in price.
