Xbox's second Game Pass wave for October 2026 is a mix of one big RPG, a handful of smaller releases and a list of departures. The headline title is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Xbox Wire's roundup, published October 20, is the primary source. Gematsu and TwistedVoxel both mirror its schedule.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives in Game Pass on October 29 for Xbox Series X|S, Cloud and PC. RPGSite reports it will be included in Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. The Xbox description says it retells the original story up to the escape from Midgar. That is one slice of a larger remake project, so the Game Pass listing shouldn't be read as the whole story.

The Xbox Store page lists the Intergrade edition as containing the full Remake game plus the Yuffie episode, INTERmission. Whether the Game Pass version includes that episode isn't spelled out in the announcement. Check the title's Game Pass page when it goes live.

The Séance of Blake Manor arrives on October 27 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It is on Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. Xbox describes it as a supernatural detective mystery set in Ireland in 1897, built around a young woman's disappearance at a remote hotel.

Full schedule and tier eligibility

Eligibility differs by title, so the plans are not interchangeable.

Some points from the table:

  • Premium gets two of the bigger names. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and The Séance of Blake Manor are both on Premium.
  • Several titles skip Premium. Scramble Knights Online, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Terrible Lizards are listed only for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
  • Two titles are marked day one. Xbox says Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards are available on day one with Game Pass. Insider Gaming counts eight more titles this month, including two day-one games.
  • Sandustry is a tier expansion. It was already on Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and Premium is the new addition.
  • Platform labels vary. Some entries say "Console" and others say "Xbox Series X|S." That is how Xbox labels them, so check the title's store page before assuming a console version.

Xbox describes Scramble Knights Online as an MMO-lite action RPG. It describes Terrible Lizards as a horror parkour game from WDR Studios, and Pit of Goblin as online horror co-op. Dodo Duckie is a puzzle platformer, and Sandustry is a factory-building game.

Updates and subscriber perks

These items are not new library games.

  • The Elder Scrolls Online, October 21: Season 2 Update: Echoes of Skyrim. It returns to Western Skyrim and adds two solo dungeons and gameplay improvements. It also adds free and premium versions of the Season Two Tamriel Tome, available until January 27. The roundup gives no year for that date.
  • The Finals Welcome Pack: Available now to Ultimate, Premium, Essential and PC Game Pass subscribers. It contains 500 Multibucks, a 25% bonus XP boost and the "Pretty Hostile" cosmetic set. It is available only while the season lasts.
  • World of Tanks Modern Armor XP Stock bundle, November 3: 20 Enhanced Repair Kits, 20 Enhanced Med Kits and 20 Automatic Fire Suppressors. It is listed for the same four plans.

What's leaving

On October 31, nine games leave on Cloud, Console and PC:

  • Day of the Tentacle Remastered
  • Dead Static Drive
  • Deep Rock Galactic
  • Full Throttle Remastered
  • Grim Fandango Remastered
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
  • Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • Wartales
  • Wildgate

On November 10, two editions of Football Manager 26 leave. The PC edition is listed for PC. The Console Edition is listed for Cloud, Console and PC.

Xbox says subscribers can save on departing games before they leave. The announcement gives no discount amounts or end dates, so check the store for actual prices.

Practical takeaways

  • Playing a leaving title to the end? The October 31 date falls two days after Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives, and the leaving list includes Deep Rock Galactic and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Plan around that date.
  • Playing on PC? Every new game in this wave is listed for PC Game Pass. Several also carry a Cloud label, which means streaming. Handheld optimization is flagged separately by Xbox, and none of the wave-two entries in this roundup were marked that way.
  • Dates are scheduled, not guaranteed. They come from Xbox's October 20 announcement. Titles typically appear at set times that vary by region, and the roundup gives no exact release times or download sizes.

The wave is relatively small at eight games. It is also clearly weighted toward the Ultimate and PC tiers, with Premium picking up only some of the big names. Which tier you're on will decide how much of it you can actually play.
