Microsoft PowerToys is a set of utilities for power users to tune and streamline their Windows experience for greater productivity. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to download and use Microsoft PowerToys:
- Go to the Microsoft PowerToys website (GitHub - microsoft/PowerToys: Windows system utilities to maximize productivity) and click on the "Download" button on the top right corner of the page. Alternatively you can use the Download link here or the Microsoft Store (built-in to Windows)
- Select the appropriate version of PowerToys for your system (either the x64 or x86 version) and download the installer.
- Run the installer and follow the prompts to install PowerToys on your system.
- Once PowerToys is installed, you can launch it by searching for it in the Start menu or by clicking on the PowerToys icon in the system tray.
- In the PowerToys window, you will see a list of all the utilities included in the package. You can enable or disable them individually by clicking on the toggle switch next to each utility.
- To use a specific utility, click on its name in the list to open its settings. Here you can configure the utility to your liking and customize its behavior.
- Some of the PowerToys utilities include :
