About this tag
The 8bitdo tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about 8BitDo controllers, particularly the Ultimate 3-Mode Controller for Xbox. Recent content highlights the controller's design, including its translucent shell, Hall Effect sticks, and charging dock, which make it appealing for Windows PC and mobile use. However, a key point is that on Xbox consoles, the controller operates only via wired USB-C connection, while the 2.4GHz receiver is for PC and Bluetooth for mobile. This distinction is important for buyers considering the controller for multi-platform use. The tag focuses on hardware compatibility, controller features, and practical considerations for Windows and console gamers.
