About this tag
The admins tag on WindowsForum.com covers discussions about administrative accounts and permissions in Windows environments. Topics include whether a Microsoft account can be a domain admin, issues where an admin user loses rights to install or run programs, and using the Local Policy Editor to restrict other admin users from installing software. Registry permission problems for the administrators group in Windows 7 are also addressed. Additionally, the tag is used for forum-related requests directed at site admins, such as reporting spammers or asking how to mark a thread as solved. These threads reflect common challenges faced by Windows administrators in both domain and local contexts.
