I thought some of you may be interested in these themes and wallpapers for Windows 7. Its really nothing special or fancy but I certainly didn't mind downloading it. As far as the wallpapers go its just the respective color and box art for Home, Pro, and Ultimate. The Ultimate theme is kind of...
Some nice Windows wallpapers. The majority of them are non version specific with a few specific to Vista and XP. Also the example I posted was requested by myself and someone else in the desktop capture sticky. Enjoy!

I remember reading a post a while ago about making your taskbar and windows totally transparent (rather than tinted or 'glass'), but I can't find it now. Does anyone know how to do this?
To me, Windows 7 just feels so much different from Xp and past OS's. Even in classic theme, it just seems glossier and more eye candy. Does anyone feel the same? And is there away to make it feel like Windows 95 or 2000? Even a guide for Vista because that feels the same way as 7 to me.

This Vista/7 version seems very cluttered and easily able to be lost in while, the Xp and down version is all there and easily switchable between tabs.
And is there any way to change back to the Xp styled one in Windows 7?
Microsoft has a beautiful thing in Aero, but it isn't using it to the magnitude that it could be. One suggestion, cut out the white backgrounds on windows such as the control panel and windows explorer, and replace them with a glass background. If more than one window is open, make the active...

looking at the screen shots and having tried it for a few minutes, i think one aspect in particular is a step backwards aesthetically. that change being the windows Start button icon. when Vista came out with the circular start button that slightly overlapped the rectangular taskbar i thought...
I am trying to see just how far I can go with Windows Vista to change the look and feel of it. I have changed my desktop drammatically but I need to know if it is possible somehow to lock the icons in place so that they can't be moved about. I like the look of it and don't want it changed...
