How does the corresponding actions look like in winX nowadays? What is the new logic behind the actual version of Windows respecting these subjects?
Appreciate any information

I'm hoping some registry experts here can help. I have lost my Cortana settings. When I click the settings icon (3rd from the top on the left), nothing happens. I may have become a bit overzealous in my attempts to disable Cortana, but now I have lost the options to turn it on and off. How do I...

I upgraded from 8.1 to 10. How do I load my photos into a file? After I click on "Camera" I get the message "something went wrong. Make sure your camera is connected and not being used by another app".
I have not been able to load my cd's onto windows media player in windows 10. There is no "rip" feature. I also tried downloading music from me smartphone, and that does not work either. It seems like I have to buy an app in order to load cd's that I've already paid for. If this is true...
I tend to use "app" to refer to the metro apps and "program" to refer to things like excel or Word. But in W10 menus, "app" seems to refer to both which I find confusing. Why the blurring of the distinction?
Thanks.
Take a look at how Windows 10 brings a single platform experience to many different devices and how Windows tooling and .NET Native provide developers with a great opportunity to create amazing apps.
