    Windows 7 Window sizes are always auto-shrinked after Monitor off+on? How to avoid?

    I have a Samsung TFT monitor with resolution 1920x1080 which is connected by HDMI cable. Assume I open a couple of windows (IntExp, WinExplorer, notepad,...). Now (e.g.late in the evening) I turn off manually physically (only) the TFT monitor to save power but let the computer continue run...

    Windows 7 W-7 app window auto-resizing

    when I drag an application window near the edge of the screen, the window automatically switches to full screen. Is there a way to turn this behavior off? It's driving me nuts!
