Windows 7 Window sizes are always auto-shrinked after Monitor off+on? How to avoid?
I have a Samsung TFT monitor with resolution 1920x1080 which is connected by HDMI cable. Assume I open a couple of windows (IntExp, WinExplorer, notepad,...). Now (e.g.late in the evening) I turn off manually physically (only) the TFT monitor to save power but let the computer continue run...- pstein

Windows 7 Auto resize frustration!
Is it possible to prevent the ridiculous auto "full screen" when one tries to move a window partially off screen - this feature is one of several "new to Win 7" :skull: that make me yearn to return to XP Pro... Windows 7 How to maximise columns in Explorer
When I open Windows Explorer with a list of say, music files in a folder, the column that holds the file names is maybe 2 inches wide, so I have to move the bar at the top in order t see the whole name. Windows 7 W-7 app window auto-resizing
when I drag an application window near the edge of the screen, the window automatically switches to full screen. Is there a way to turn this behavior off? It's driving me nuts!- EVC
