    Windows 7 How do you make Windows 7 partition bootable

    I have a system with two harddrives, one with Vista and one with Win 7. Vista drive was used to boot the system. Recently Vista drive dies, so I tried to boot from Win 7 drive. Since bootsector isn't there I can't. How do I make the remaining Win 7 drive bootable? Thanks in advance for any...

    Windows 7 Yet another "can't install - missing install.wim" user.....

    I'm not sure WHY I thought this would be painless, but... Downloaded Windows 7, 64-bit from the official site. Burned it to a DVD using the less-than-a-year-old Samsung burner. Tried the install and got the familiar "missing install.wim" message. Burned ANOTHER DVD using 2X just in case...
