browser policies

The browser policies tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of how Microsoft Edge behavior is controlled through administrative settings, especially where defaults and policy options are changing. Recent coverage looks at Microsoft's plan to simplify Edge Energy Saver into a single mode that activates when the battery is low or the device is unplugged, with low battery as the default. The roadmap entry is listed as in development with an estimated general availability date, and the discussion stresses that administrators should not adjust Edge policies based on an unshipped roadmap item alone. It suits IT staff tracking Edge configuration changes.
