    Windows 7 external microphone problem in windows 7 (dell 1520)

    hello ,, I have Dell inspiron 1520 and just installed windows 7 .. my built-in microphone is working properly, BUT when I use external headset, its speakers work properly but its mic still does not .. can anyone help me with this problem cuz am so tired :(

    Windows 7 Microphone on headset not working

    Hello, I've installed the Windows 7 RC on a Dell Inspiron 1420 with 2.5 gigs of RAM, 1.8 Dual Core Pentium Processor, Nvidia GeForce 8400M, SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec...and that's where the problem lies. The sounds works great and the audio/microphone ports on the laptop were working...
