Hi
This morning when I talked to Alexa, I found that my router was offline so I reset it and booted up my computer.
After a few minutes it came back online.
So I ran CCleaner, something I do every morning, and I was surprised to see that there was a lot of stuff to be removed 8,232 MB total...

I need 8GB free device space so I did a little analysis and I can't do that; my windows folder (pc/Acer/windows) is taking up 24.8 GB out of 28GB how can I solve this?
Is this even normal? Can I even solve this?
I would really appreciate your help.:chuncky:

I've used and trusted CCleaner for years, but am afraid to launch its registry cleaning function. Have any of you tried it without any ill results? I know that it does back up the registry, but I still have a mental block when it comes to messing with the registry.
I keep getting a nagging pop up suggesting I remove temporary files and delete the old Windows installation. I am not sure why I would want to do this, particularly if I wanted to revert to Windows 7 within the 1 month allowed by Microsoft ?
Hello ya'll. I have uninstalled Setpoint Software with Advanced Uninstaller but of course, checking through the Registry, I do find at least one remnant of it still.
I'll post a screenshot of what I mean. I need to know if I should delete the whole folder or just the stuff within the folder...

An investigation of my 64bit Win 7 systems shows that the folder
C:\Windows\assembyl\NativeImages_v2.0.50727_64\Temp\
has almost 12 GB content. I have never seen such a big space occupation before (for a Windows "Temp")
directory. I must have bloated in the last weeks.

Hi
Today I was trying to delete some old video project folders.
I had one folder that had dozens of files created by Adobe Premiere Elements that I don't need to keep anymore.
The thing was that every time I tried to delete them I got a message saying that the file names were too long to...

Assume some programs (which of cause do not belong to the "core" Win 7 system) created some services..
During deinstallation the original programs these programs do NOT cleanup their corrsponding services.
So is there a way to deinstall services later in another way?
I don't want to just...

I had 5 files =oice in %temp% which would never go away as all files eventually do.
There are other files seen on the attachment. I used uncover to remove the oice files but am unsure if I should remove these in the attachment.
I ran DISM and finally reported no corruption.
