About this tag
The custom gaming hardware tag on WindowsForum.com collects discussion of one-off builds and promotional fabrications rather than standard retail products. Recent coverage centers on Xbox's Series X-BITE, an alligator-themed custom fabrication with a working Xbox Series X inside, created as a sweepstakes stunt rather than a console revision or a product anyone can buy. Threads here tend to separate genuine hardware news from marketing headlines, noting what was actually built, whether it is for sale, and how it differs from official Microsoft releases. Expect conversation about unusual console mods, limited promotional builds, and the practical details behind custom gaming hardware projects.
