    Windows 7 External hard drive problem

    I have a DELL XPS420 running Windows 7 premium. I have a Western Digital 1TB external hard drive. The drive no longer appears! I have tried changing from firewire to USB but nothing. Can anyone help?

    Windows Vista Windows doesn't recognize Camcorder in Devices Manager
