disk booting

OK I tryed to do a dual boot on my windows 7 computer the dual boot is xp and I got a corrupt copy, and now it won't pass the boot logo, And it crashes,and now I can't do anything, I can't get back to my windows 7, and when I tired booting from a diffent disc it won't change the name of the disc...

Alright so, my issue is two-fold. I cannot install SP1, I keep getting error code 80073712 error. I've done the update readiness tool successfully, sfcscan with unrepairable errors, manual SP1 install. Nothing has worked, so I'm trying to do a inplace upgrade to hopefully replace...
