Running Win7 64bit. Have spent hours on various forums with a ton of "so called solutions."
Windows Installer doesn't show up under services at all. Can't find a download to reinstall since it should use v5. The v4.5 won't install.
Suggestions?

I was messing around with the uninstall a program feature and may have gotten a little overzealous as it seemed I uninstalled the windows installer...

My windows installer (v.5.0) seems to be corrupted or something. I can't install or uninstall anything that uses .msi and i can't seem to find any way to fix this.
I want to uninstall OpenOffice, but get error that it can't find the .msi file. A search of my computer cannot find it either...
When i want to install java i get error 1719
