I have a problema when making a bigger C partition (where i have win7). I get free space but i cant then use to expand C.

I just replaced the hard drive in my laptop using the system image technique.
I recently did this on my desktop and was able to extend my c drive with the left over partition.
I have my extra space on drive E and want to extend it to C. Why can't I do this? How can I do this?
