Windows 10 Administrator problem .
There's a big round red cross at the top left of the window . then it says "windows cannot access the specified device , path or file . Windows 10 Ver. 10130, Apps from all apps list only open if I click "Open as Administrator?
Hi I'm going to take these issues on one at a time as I come to them. Windows 8 folder sharing vs advanced sharing
i'm trying to share a folder so in properties i click the "advanced sharing" button and do everyone - read only, homegroupusers - full. save and exit. then i check the "share" simplified panel and it only lists myself as owner. so i add everyone - read only, homegroup - full. go back to...- Talbot

Windows 7 How to declare (from command line !) folder D:\aaa\bbb shared for User myuser123 with full access?
As the sibject already told I am seaching for a way to assign sharing permissions FROM COMMANDLINE for a particular user with particular permission. Something like defineshare -dir=D:\aaa\bbb -user=myuser123 -perm="full access" Is this somehow possible? peter- pstein
