About this tag
Game controllers on Windows 11 are receiving deeper integration through Microsoft's Xbox ecosystem updates. Recent previews include the Xbox Full Screen Experience, a controller-first shell for handhelds and PCs, and a repurposed Xbox button that opens Task View or Game Bar. The ROG Xbox Ally series exemplifies handheld gaming devices running Windows 11 with console-style controls. The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller offers premium customization for PC gamers, while limited-edition designs like the Xbox Floral Collection 2025 add style. These developments focus on improving navigation, reducing friction between power-on and play, and tightening Xbox integration on Windows.
