I encountered a problem installing win7 64bit resp. win2k8 r2 to a IBM x226 computer.
The installing routine did not recognize the onboard hostraid adapter with the AIC-7902B chip. Furthermore I could not find a suitable driver for 64bit on the ibm-support page.

Hi There,
I have an IBM laptop with simple build ( Find details in Attachment ). When I install Windows Live 2009 on Windows 7 (b 7000). It hangs up my computer and only way to get rid of this is remove power plug....can anyone help me with this ?

Loaded Windows 7 on an IBM T42 laptop.
With a little work I was able to get "most" things working properly.
The things I can't get to work:
Trying to run WMV files on Media Player locks the system down hard. (have to take battery out to shut off)
Trying to run any game that came with Windows...
