When the image was captured there was system drive compression enabled. Is it possible to edit WIM image without deploying and re-caputing it to untick "Compress this drive to save disk space."?
Needing to resize digital photos i have recently taken. WinXP had a great little tweaker toy for this...i can't seem to find it in Win7. Is there a small program to do this. In WinXP all one had to do was right click on the image and voila, one could instantly resize an image. Cheers and beers...

Hi
Until recently my computer would open image files with Adobe Photoshop and Preview them using Windows Photo Viewer.
This is the way it has worked in Windows 7 as long as I have been using it.
This worked great because Photo Viewer open almost instantly and Photoshop takes forever!

I used to have Window's XP and when I wanted to print photos I could do it with the built in software. It gave me the options of choosing the size photo, how many, etc. Everything I have tried with Window's 7 requires me to either buy photos from some other website or print only in 8X10 or 4X6...
Good people!
I've stumbled upon a problem. I was quick-editing pictures with the help of Picture viewer (essentially just rotating the pictures and then jumping on to the next picture). I then noticed that the pictures disappeared from their parent folder. This happened to about 10 pictures...
After using Photo Story 3 successfully for many years with XP, I downloaded the latest version from Microsoft Photo Story 3 download site onto new PC running Windows 7 Home Premium. No problems with download, however the motion customisation frame for any image does not respond to dragging by...
Hi
I've been talking with Veegertx about changing the Windows load screen in another post and that brought me to a strange issue.
I created a folder with a sub folder in Windows Explorer and placed an image in it by copying and pasting it.
Later when I wanted to edit the image I tried...

How can I extract the yellowish color?
It should turn this way:
The same thing happens in Photoshop, One sees as the first image, but save as the last image.
Has someone some idea to fix it?
I have a LCD monitor Samsung, Nvidia Geforce 8500 Gt video, Core 2 quad, 4Gb ram.
Hello Folks, I'm a newbie to this forum so I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.
I recently photographed a lot of old farming letters. They are of many different shapes and I would like to print them all to a single PDF file. To do that I show all the photos (in JPEG format) in their...
I was having a discussion on another forum, and got fascinated by an observation another member had made. If you use the default desktop, the welcome screen only stayed for 2 or 3 seconds. If you customised the desktop, this deteriroated to, in the worst cases, about 50 seconds.
I began to...
Hi Everyone,
I've just installed Windows 7, and after configuring the fonts with the wizard I still have a very odd issue. Attached is an image which contains two partial screen shots. Notice that the one of Skype has something funny with its fonts, while the one of Google Chrome does not...

Is there any way I can open Nikon's .NEF files in Win 7 64-bit?
I searched the web and found a codec, but it was for 32-Bit, but I installed it any ways to try, and it did not work.
I also found a codec that works for 64-bit, but it costs money, and I don't want to pay for it.
Any ideas?
